'member how I mentioned the plot was a tad un-original? FAILBlog posted "Avatar Plot Fail or Observation Win?"

Someone took the synopsis of Pocahontas and scribbled in notes to make it "Avatar!" Awesome.

Interesting post. I have done some of this with my father, and I have to say I was surprised by some of his answers.
You wouldn't happen to have some references or links to a website(s) that have some guidelines to what questions I should ask? One of those situations where I don't even know what I don't know.

I agree with most of the list above but would certainly include the US election system. We are suppose to be the greatest democracy on earth, but we can't seem to count votes. WTF

Dear JamBra,
Thanks for the comment.
As a quick response to your question on your savings account. Yes interest rates are ridiculously low and won't be improving anytime soon. Of course I wouldn't recommend putting it in your safe, because then you wouldn't be getting any interest at all. However, I do recommend having at least a one month cash supply on hand in case of emergency where ATMs and credit cards don't work. So if you have your emergency cash taken care of, try to save up at least a six month cash supply in the ING account. After that if you have some additional funds that you want to put to work more aggressively, I would suggest opening a brokerage account and buying a bond ETF (I like TIPS for inflation protection), or a broad market ETF such as ACWI.

Yeah I can see that. Although reality TV existed before 1999/2000...

I guess it did get really spectacularly stupid this past decade, though.

I have to agree. There were plenty of personal WTFs too. I would have to say that the only WTF you missed was reality TV. Don't get me wrong, some of them are amusing, but the whole idea of someone wanting to watch a person or family live their lives is a huge WTF for me.
