Hiking at Kumbrabow
Our Sunday hike was a fantastic, almost 6 mile round trip jaunt that took us from the campground, up the steep and challenging Raven Rocks trail...to this lush and scenic vista atop Raven Rock...to Buck Knob, the highest elevation in the forest (3855 feet!) where we sat on this fallen tree to eat our lunch (and then climb a little)...along the top of the ridge via the Rich Mountain Fire Trail, where we encountered this crazy snapped-in-half tree that looked like it could come crashing down at an
